Thank you all for the answers! I have viewed the tutorials and have been messing with notepad for about 3 hours now! It is tedious but actually kinda fun to see what you can do. I have the day off tomorrow so I will do more tommorow!

Notepad is a bit simple.

Personally, I use Kwrite.  You can get it to work on windows, but it's a pain.  Notepad+ is a good alternative.

The advantage over notepad is syntax highlighting which makes it easier to see tags, especially useful when you're doing things like nested tables.

You could also use Open Office which is a free alternative to the Microsoft Office program. You could build web page with it as well.

OpenOffice.org is pants (so is MS Office) when it comes to generating HTML.

If you design a site as a word processor document, it looks like a word processor document.

Either do it by hand, or use a proper WYSIWYG.

Actually, there is a program in Open office that is similar to Front Page Express. I used it and a word processor to make a web page, and the Open Office was completely different.

I wud recommend you buy a domain from godaddy.com, really, u can get gud cashback which will cover ur cost too.
Also, please don't use 000webhost, i had terrible experience with them, they suddenly decided to monitor all sites, and my site was down for almost a week.
