Payingcash
« on: February 16, 2009, 11:18:34 PM »
This is the admin from payingcash.  I find it interesting that as he obviously cannot pay, he has simply decided to not pay certain long term members.  I also find it interesting that suddenly he is using the banner rotator ptp link as one of his reasons for members cheating.

Administrative Message #107 - Important Admin message
Dear members of payingcash.net.

I know there are a lot of questions about payingcash, so that's why i send you this admin message

Due to:

- e-gold problems
- ptp cheating through ptp links in banner rotators
- fake hits and things like that

I have decided that I only pay members of the following countries:

The United States, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,

Iceland, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and The

United Kingdom.

If you are from another country you can only redeem your earnings for ads!

With regards,
Remy
Thanks for the update

It's disgusting to see a program owner apply a change of terms like this retro-actively while admitting that one of the reasons is finances.

Tier 3 and 4 members should at least get a reasonable time to change their advertising, exchange all their PTP credits without a minimum and get paid in full so they can freely decide to stay as an ''ads only'' member or leave. But forcing them to spend their earnings on advertising without giving them those options first is simply wrong.

All this smells like creative debt control and as such it will only work if a lot of tier 3 and 4 members cancel their accounts or if ad redemptions are very unfavorable for members. Otherwise it will just move the debt to different accounts.

I'm a bit baffled by the 'fake hits and things like that' part. Nice and vague so no one knows exactly what it means... We (program owners who offer PTP) all deal with fake hits and it's not limited to tier 3 and 4 members either. So deal with the members who deliver them in stead of punishing a large part of your membership.

Last but not least, what I find particularly interesting is ''ptp cheating through ptp links in banner rotators". Now where did we hear this novelty earlier today? Riiiiight... when Guy of No-Minimum decided to call Aileen a fraud and ban her CashDelight and HappyPigMail for allowing PTP links as a target link for rotating banners - something that 99% of the PO's out there, myself included, allow as well.

Something smells very very fishy here...

If they have some financial problem we can wait for late payout but changing terms which affect old members sound disgusting I was waiting for payout from 60 days and almost more than 3$. Payingcash faced problem in past also and I also remember that they delete mitgib's account and then mitgib banned payingcash from sites. Mitgib is one of big advertiser and promotor at payingcash at that time.

I totlaly agree with the above

He also makes it look like people from some countries cheat and others not which is ridiculous, or he pays all and goes ad only or none because the "reasons" he lists are not caused more by people from some countries than by people from other countries ...  :duh:

I really cant believe there isnt more of an uproar about this site just deciding it wont pay members who dont live in certain countries anymore.  I am not a member but I think it is plain wrong.

What about 5centminimum.com, does remy still own that?

Strolly posted at gpf that remy may have not paid off site debt in the past.

He has in the past owned a ptc called leapcash.com, he must have owned worldwide-cash.com  and no-minimum.com at some stage, he owned articpromotion.com, bluesky-mails.com, catmails.net, aphroditescash.com, delta-mails.com

The fake hits may not be fake hits at all. People advertising their links to more than one site, and people clicking on them could wind up clicking on the link of the same promoter to get the message that This Person Did Not Get Credit For Your Visit. I get them a lot from different sites, and that means that the invalids is meant that the clicks came from the same people who already clicked on the same PTP link from another site.

well he seems to be paying some, T1/2 members who rerequested payout got paid right away. i'm T3 and contacted him through support desk and asked for my pending payout before the changes and he did pay me within 5 minutes.. I have to say though i was not angry in my support ticket and told him politely that a lot of members will be angry with his disicion and he seems to accept that and decided to pay members, only if they send a support ticket asking for request. i also suggested to him keeping  old non
i have no idea whats going on because its very confusing. you'd think they're in debt and can't pay but then he pays members who ask for it??? its weird..

I have earned about 9 dollars after a hard work (the ads are of low value there only) and much money spent on promoting the program. If I have ALREADY EARNED THAT MONEY, AND AM WAITING FOR 3 MONTHS, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALREADY PAID, WITH INTEREST!!! THIS IS A NO-MINIMUM PROGRAM AND HE SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR BEING LATE FOR 3 MONTHS.
THIS IS NOT RIGHT, IT MAKES HIM EQUAL TO IRIS, WHO STOLE MY MONEY FROM ME. THE RESULTS OF ADVERTISING THERE ARE TERRIBLE, I GET TOO MANY INVALIDS FROM THAT SITE.  This decision is incorrect and dishonest. Cheaters come from America as well, all those giving me hundreds of invalids from some of my programs last year, came from tier 1 (from the analysis that a webmaster where I received 300 invalids in one day only made).
THAT MONEY IS ONLY MINE, AND I DO NOT WANT ANY ADS.

From my account, where there were 66 members in front of me. I was waiting for almost 9 dollars for 3 months:
Your account balance after all transactions:      $ 8.4047 (plus the unconverted ptp credits too, as I was advertising it on my 4 affy pages and in my upgraded programs)

Remy says: If you are from another country you can only redeem your earnings for ads!
And, my request was deleted, and I got a message: A cashout button will appear when you reach the min payout.

I have reached the minimum payout almost 3 months ago. For me, THIS IS CALLED CHEATING!

from my info page:
Current payment method: Alertpay

Guess I will soon ask someone to make the warning banners for paying cash, as his decision could be applied for new members, but not for the money that should have been paid off 3 months ago. If he does not pay me, the banners will flood all my affy pages and I will warn people from tiers 3,4,5 not to join the program whose owner has decided to steal my money.

And further more - IMO the owner is, literally, blackmailing  the members forcing them to redeem for ads at unacceptably high prices. No promotional prices offered for the emergency case. Practically one can redeem small earnings only for banner impressions.

No matter how sophisticated the way of scamming members is, it remains scamming.

About begging at the support desk for one's earnings - to me its looks too humiliating to turn into a beggar after being an honest member waiting for months for my earnings.

Well i didn't beg i asked politely there's a huge difference so please don't assume that because i don't speak out more often that i am a scared little thing who begs for anything.

I don't think Slim meant you begged, more that honest members shouldn't have to go ask in support desk when it's not them being wrong

see you used the word ASK which is the correct term, so why did slim have to mention the word BEG when apparently i am the only one who "begged" for her payment? it just felt that it was directed at me only.

I too think you are reading slim's comment the wrong way nitemares. I'm as certain as it is possible to be about someone else's intentions that it had nothing to do with you, she's just mad that she should have to ask for something she has already earned and should have received months ago and i don't blame her for being p*ssed, I would be too

i am p*ssed too lol and i think its obvious. Even though i did get paid, what happened is just so unfair and dishonest.  Anyways i am more calm now so yes i can see that i might have misunderstood, still my suggestion is a valid one. so before complaining about waiting for months (which i also did and everyone complained already) she should have tried my suggestion and  not discredit it by accusing members who ask for their rightfully and honestly earned money of begging.
