I was informed by a My-PTR member this afternoon that downline earnings have not credited since September 11th.  I updated the script that the site runs on to the latest upgrade on the 12th, which caused the issue.  My host told me that this issue is the result of a bug in the latest upgrade and it is being worked on by the script's authors.

The hope is that when the new, bug-free, update is released that it will automatically credit for the missed days.  If it does not, I will find a way to make it up to those with a downline of any size.

The script has been updated to the newest version, which fixed the downline earning issue.  It does not appear that it will automatically credit for the missed time, which will be known for sure within the next 6 or 7 hours.  The downline earnings update one time per day around 4 - 5 pm eastern time.

To make up for the missed downline earnings, I have doubled the referrral commission for the next 8 days.  The referral commissions (meaning what you earn from your referrals) will be 30% instead of 15% until next Sunday.

The click contest for October has officially started. It was created a few hours late, so it will not count clicks for the first 13 hours of the month. The reason for the delay is that I wanted to see if what my host did to try to fix the plugin last month worked. It couldn't be tested until a contest completed itself, which happened at midnight. Their efforts succeeded and the plugin credited all winners automatically as designed.

I have some BIG news as far as PTP approvals go. I've e-mailed Sebas at DonkeyMails a handful of times since the site launched in August of 2007. I received a response today from my last e-mail that I sent in September. DreamMails is now allowed to promote the DonkeyMails PTP link. :-D

Administrative Message - E-Gold Officially removed as a payment option

E-Gold's name has been removed from the site as a payment option. 5 weeks after submitting my documents, they were approved at E-Gold. A week later, a message came up that my state, Michigan, does not currently allow E-Gold. Now there is a message claiming that my drivers license has been permanently rejected as a photo proof. It is just another excuse to steal from it's users to bail themselves out. Even if E-Gold were to reinstate my account at some point, I highly doubt that I would ever accept any future payments as they cannot be trusted.

I'll look into other payment methods, but for now I am stick with PayPal and AlertPay.

Administrative Message - No new signups from China
May 13, 2009

Effective today, there will be no new signups from China allowed at DreamMails. Current members may remain members, click, earn and cash out just like a member from any other country as long as their account is in good standing.

The reason for this is because I've spent several hours over the last two days weeding out members using auto clicking software. Over 80 accounts and hundreds of IPs were suspended and blocked for bot usage, all of which originated from China.

The front page of the site, terms and the country selections have been updated to reflect this change.

I'm having some connection issues and may be unavailable over the next day.  I had virtually no internet yesterday from 11 am onward.  Today, I can only go online on the computer closest to the modem with just this computer's Ethernet cable plugged directly into the box.  (Knocking on wood that this lasts for a little while.) 

At the moment, all pending ads have been processed.  I'll try to check the webmail (since I don't want to download it to a different computer) to see if any support e-mails were sent.

Hopefully I will be back online within the next day (or day and 4 hours since my tech appointment is between 12 and 3 tomorrow).

New Support Ticket System

I have added a support ticket system (Help Desk, or hesk) to DreamMails.  It replaces the old "contact.php" page where an e-mail is sent to me.  I've been getting a lot of spam through that form, so this should be helpful.  There is a knowledge database that I'll be adding some articles to over the next week that should help with some frequently asked questions.
