Problem in the surf
« on: November 20, 2013, 01:09:40 AM »
:panic: :'( There is one thing in the surf that forces the computer to open multiple screens. I just ran into it and it froze up this computer in the library and listed me as entering the surf apparently to infinity. This can't be good for either of our systems.  :sos:

Thank you for the report.  Do you remember any part of the site that caused it or which site came before this issue? Either pieces of information will allow me to search for the offending site in the new surfer.

It looks like there is something wrong with the cron job for the plugin. I tried to find the file so I could run it myself, but had no luck locating it. I've contacted my host in hopes that they have had this issue before and know what to do to fix this.  Thank you for the report.

My host has moved the site to an older server, which should fix the problem. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for everyone to see the result as I had to change the site's nameservers, which I completed a few minutes ago.  I'll be checking on it after work tomorrow.

This is still being worked on. There does not appear to be an easy fix and the author of the script no longer has any contact information.
