Paypal "Limited" Phishing Attempt
« on: August 08, 2017, 05:29:01 PM »
Beware!

I got an email saying my paypal had been limited.  I opened a new browser to check, and my account had no such message.

Don't click on anything in the mail.

I got one too  :(   It was in my spam folder in an email that I don't use for Paypal  O.o

One give-away was incorrect spelling in the email.

This scam must be wide spread I think :(

I received one as well. Had a brief panic attack as it was an address I use with PayPal and I've had an account limited in the past.  Read the actual message and realized it wasn't legitimate. Started with "Dear member".

I don't think Paypal ever asks you to click on a link.  I have gotten several fake emails over the years and just ignore them and delete.
