What to look for and the dangers they pose
« on: August 28, 2008, 06:11:41 pm »
Hello and welcome to The Check Point section here at Global Friends Online

This is a list of the various bad codes and threats in use currently. Each one has a brief description of what it does and also a link to the relevant thread in the discussion area where they are discussed in more detail.

If you know of a problem or threat that is not listed here, you can alert others to it by posting what it is and what it does HERE, for example;

badthing - Discussion

We will then add it to list below and provide a link to the appropriate thread.

Or if you want help, information, or opinions about something you have found and do not know if it is bad or not, then please feel free to post in this section HERE, so others can help you with it. Remember that there are no silly questions when online security is involved, people are here to help you not judge you.

We hope you find this section of the forum both helpful and informative and we also hope that by doing it this way, it makes it easier for members to identify and understand the threats/problems caused by the use of those codes listed below.

Thank you,

Global Friends Online Moderation Team.
